I was privileged to be able to record an acoustic version of my song “We Are Ready” at Foxtel Television Studios last year, and it was shown on Wesley Impact TV a couple of weeks ago (on Channel 9 across Australia).
We Are Ready is a song I wrote for my home church, and it is one of the tracks on my new album “The Sending”.
Enjoy!

Have you ever found it difficult to get to church consistently, let alone actively engage with God when you’re there? While seasons of spiritual dryness can be a normal part of the Christian experience, worshiping with other believers can be a vital and enriching part of our ongoing discipleship and faith development.

From contemporary rock/pop worship anthem, to indy, orchestral, alternative and hymnic, Ryan Day’s forthcoming debut worship album, The Sending, is a musically diverse collection of worship songs, through which the theme of Christian “sentness” is masterfully interwoven.
The concept for the album is based on John 20:21 where Jesus says, “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” The album explores the idea that being “sent” is a vital part of Christian life and worship. The project encapsulates what Ryan describes as three ‘movements’ – Invitation (Jesus sent to the world), Transformation (The Spirit sent to the world) and Participation (The Church sent to the world).
The Sending takes the listener on a journey of worship and praise that reminds us that worship is more than just singing songs – that worship is an all-of-life response that involves calling, connecting and commissioning, which are our responses to the three movements.
The Sending is due for independent release on Friday May 15, 2015 at Revive Conference, Dural Sports and Leisure Centre in north-western Sydney, Australia.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29 NIV
