The Sending – New Australian Worship Album
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (ANS — June 23, 2015) — It took ten years before singer/songwriter Ryan Day was able to fulfill a vision God had given him of producing a worship album. ‘The Sending’, launched this week at Gymea Baptist Church, was inspired by his own experiences with God and those of the church.

Ryan Day’s Debut Worship Album, The Sending, Out Now!
15th May, 2015
Including a diversity of styles within the contemporary worship genre, from declarative rock/pop worship anthems, to the cinematic and the hymnic, these songs take the listener on a journey of emotion and truth.
THE SENDING is, at heart, a concept album based on John 20:21 when Jesus says, “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Ryan masterfully explores this idea – based on his conviction that being “sent” is a vital part of God’s character, and an essential value of Christian life and worship.
THE SENDING includes what Ryan describes as three interlocking ‘movements’ of the Christian faith – Incarnation (Jesus sent to the world), Transformation (The Spirit sent to the world) and Participation (The Church sent to the world). These three movements are felt through the journey of the album, beginning by recognizing the brokenness of the world, and concluding with a desire to be sent to the world, empowered by the Spirit, to “live and love like Jesus.”
THE SENDING takes the listener on a journey of worship and praise that reminds us that worship is more than just singing songs – that worship is an all-of-life response to what Jesus has done, and what He now calls us to do, with the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit to guide and enable us on the journey.
THE SENDING was launched at Revive Conference, the annual gathering of NSW and ACT Baptist Churches, in north-western Sydney, Australia on May 15, 2015.
